After the pause earlier this year, it was such a relief when we were permitted to resume filming once again, subject of course to stringent new COVID procedures.

We have been producing video & animation for the European Commission for a number of years now and are always proud to play a part in their campaigns. So were thrilled to be called upon once more to cover two projects for the Department for Justice.

Back in August we were filming in Brussels with delegates from the EU4FairWork Campaign and more recently in September, we have been filming a fairly historic event, the first ever Concerted Inspection.

The Inspection has been developed by the European Platform and European Labour Authority to fight undeclared work. It had found that growing intra-EU labour mobility and ongoing economic and social disparity had led to an increase in cross-border undeclared work across the EU.

The aim of the inspection is for European countries to join forces and use cross-border cooperation to combine resources, staff and knowledge.

We were invited to film an inspection taking place on a construction site in Brussels but at the same time they were also taking place in Lithuania and Portugal, creating a landmark in history.

We’ll be able to share the video with you in full shortly but in the meantime have shared some pictures of the filming taking place.

If you have video production requirements then do get in touch, we have film crews available across Europe and expert translation services. quint@shootyou.co.uk
